Founded in 1989, KAS is a fully accredited PreK–12 international school. Built to Compete 🤖 KAS’s Robotics Club took the stage at this year’s FIRST Tech Challenge after months of coding, testing, rebuilding, and problem-solving. The 2026 theme, DECODE, challenged teams to design robots that could score balls and sort colors based on a randomized pattern. Each match featured a 30-second autonomous period (fully pre-programmed) followed by two minutes of driver-controlled play — testing both engineering precision and teamwork under pressure. Competing against both local and national teams at the National Science and Technology Museum, KAS Robotics Team Laputa (19908) completed five qualifying rounds and placed 19th out of 36 teams. Beyond rankings, FTC is about applying science and technology in real-world ways — learning to think critically, collaborate effectively, and turn ideas into action. #RobotClub #STEM
