Welcome to Kaohsiung American School
Founded in 1989, KAS is a fully accredited PreK–12 international school. We believe that a rich, holistic, and international education prepares students for an increasingly complex, multicultural, and rapidly changing world. Our highly qualified and diverse faculty, coupled with American standards-based curricula, the IB Middle Years Programme, and the IB Diploma Programme, inspire our students to discover what drives them, to challenge themselves, and to invest in their passions.

Spirit Week brought extra fun to campus last week as our students got into the Halloween spirit! Each day came with a different theme, giving students the chance to get creative, dress up, and show off their school spirit. The Halloween celebrations continue tomorrow at KAS, including the PTA Halloween Costume Contest! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone’s costumes and celebrating together as a school community. #KASDragons #KASSpiritWeek #HalloweenAtKAS
