❄️ Winter Internship Spotlight | Part 2 ❄️ KAS students continued their Future Leaders Program by exploring careers in public service, culture, and hospitality through hands-on experiences. Students worked alongside Legislator Huang Jie and Councilor Lin, conducting research, assisting with events, and observing city council sessions to better understand civic leadership. Others guided visitors at Jiu Zhen Nan Pastry History Center, sharing Han Bing culture in both Chinese and English, while some gained behind-the-scenes insight into the hospitality industry at Just Sleep Hotel. ❄️ Winter Internship Spotlight | Part 1 — Future Leaders Program ❄️ During the winter holiday, KAS students participated in our Future Leaders Program, gaining real-world experience through hands-on internships at Wishing Star Animal Hospital and a Dermatology Clinic, where they stepped into professional settings and learned by doing. At Wishing Star Animal Hospital, students shadowed doctors when animals were calm, helped maintain a clean and organized environment, assisted with daily clinic tasks, and took part in hands-on learning such as training dogs and horses. At the Dermatology Clinic, students observed patient consultations and treatments, learned medical terminology and diagnostic approaches to common skin conditions, and supported clinic operations through non-clinical and administrative work.
