Welcome to Kaohsiung American School
Founded in 1989, KAS is a fully accredited PreK–12 international school. We believe that a rich, holistic, and international education prepares students for an increasingly complex, multicultural, and rapidly changing world. Our highly qualified and diverse faculty, coupled with American standards-based curricula, the IB Middle Years Programme, and the IB Diploma Programme, inspire our students to discover what drives them, to challenge themselves, and to invest in their passions.

A little Halloween magic took over KAS last Friday! From creative costumes and our PTA Halloween Costume Contest to trick-or-treating around campus, our students, teachers, and parents came together for a day full of fun, laughter, and festive spirit. A big thank you to our PTA for organizing the costume contest, and to all the parents, teachers, and students who dressed up and helped make the celebration such a memorable one! That’s a wrap on Halloween at KAS. Until next year! #KASDragons #KASHalloween #SchoolCommunity
