Jamie is joining KAS as an Upper Elementary Teacher. She was born and raised in Nashville, TN. After getting her Bachelors in Psychology, she worked as a social worker and then as a probation officer before finding her true passion: education. After obtaining her Masters in Education, she taught middle school for four years in Tennessee. She then moved to China and has been teaching fifth grade at an international school for the past five years.
Jamie loves to read and travel, though there hasn’t been the ability to travel much in the past two years. Jamie is excited to finally be able to reunite with her husband this summer back home before heading for a new opportunity and adventure in Taiwan!
