International Aerosol Co-Learning Day at NSYSU

On March 19, KAS grade 9 biology students were chaperoned by G9 teachers Ms. Jessica Hwang and Mr. Peter Brodhead, and accompanied by Future Leaders program associates David Hung and Tina Wu, to an International Aerosol Co-Learning Day sponsored by National Sun-Yat Sen University College of Science & Engineering.

During the day long excursion to one of Taiwan’s premier universities, students got hands-on with one of our region’s highest concerns, air quality. From board games to lasers, the researchers shared information about their research and interesting interactive ways to educate the public about the factors of air pollution.

We hope that these future decision makers will reflect upon the global impact of decisions both locally and around the world, as they stand to be the next generation of caretakers for our planet.
