Terea Marcum

Terea Marcum arrived at KAS in 2012. Ms. Marcum graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a BS in Education (2006) and went on to earn her MS in Literacy for Secondary Education from Walden University (2010). She completed the COETAIL certificate for integrating technology and learning in 2015 and became an Apple Teacher in 2017. She received her first MYP training while teaching in North Carolina in 2009. Ms. Marcum was recertified in the new chapter of MYP in 2014. She is qualified to teach multiple subject areas in secondary education such as English 6-12, History 6-12, and ESL K-12. Ms. Marcum has been teaching since January of 2007. She has a passion for incorporating technology into the classroom using a variety of platforms. She is dedicated to learning and growing as an educator as well as creating an environment where students are creators and innovators. She resides in Kaohsiung with her husband and her daughter. When time permits, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, reading, and baking.
