Stephanie Sherlock is a Grade 2 teacher from Honolulu, Hawaii. She joined the KAS staff in 2015. Ms. Sherlock has her BA in Elementary Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is certified by the state of Hawaii. She also received certification as a Nursing Assistant from Leeward College of Hawaii and has been certified in CPR/First Aid for many years. Stephanie also has a certification in TEFL and has taught English overseas. She has been trained in balanced literacy and technology. Stephanie has volunteered in after-school programs for 17 years and has many years of experience working with the ELL community at a variety of public and private schools. She is currently working on obtaining National Board Teacher Certification and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Stephanie comes from Japanese and Korean ancestry; she can read and speak basic Japanese. She loves reading, spending time with family, playing with her 2 dogs, and fashion design.
