Mike is joining KAS in 2020, teaching MYP Language and Literature and Individuals and Societies. He received his Bachelor of Arts in history from California State University Sacramento in 2008 and his Master of Science in education from Drexel University in 2015. The vast majority of his 10 year teaching career has taken place in China, South Korea, and Taiwan. Mike is accompanied by his wife, Linda, who has helped him fall in love with Taiwan. He is fascinated by all things this island country has to offer, especially its rich and complex history. If he’s not in the classroom, you’ll probably find him reading about Taiwan, scaling the central mountain range, or cruising around Kaohsiung or Pingtung on his Gogoro/Giant bicycle.
