Jeff Roth-Vinson

Science

Jeff Roth-Vinson joined KAS in 2015 and teaches IB DP Biology and Theory of Knowledge at KAS. Mr. Roth-Vinson taught for fifteen years in Oregon before joining KAS. He has a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Environmental Studies. He holds an M.Ed. in Educational Policy and Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Middle-Secondary Instruction from the University of Oregon. He is also trained in IB Biology and TOK. Mr. Roth-Vinson is a published author and contributor to AP Biology and Forensic Science textbooks and instructor manuals. He is also the KAS Science Department Chair and faculty sponsor of the Global Issues Network (GIN) club and leads international summer field science programs for students around the world. Jeff has also taught AP Biology, Microbiology, Zoology and Environmental Science. He is married and has two children in elementary and middle school at KAS. He enjoys photography, hiking, cooking, and SCUBA diving.
