Gu-las is an indigenous (Amis) Taiwanese-American international educator who attended private and public schools in the United States. In 2011, Gu-las was selected to Cohort 8 of the Boston Teacher Residency, a Harvard Kennedy School of Government award-winning clinical teacher preparation program modeled on medical residency. As a proven educator, Gu-las cares deeply about the craft of teaching through the intersections of equity, social-emotional development, and instructional design. He is passionate about public service, cycling, reading, and seeking out the Truths of human existence. Gu-las lives with his dear Taiwan dog, Comet, and life hacks using the United Nations 21st century sustainability goals as a guide.
