Cerise Roth-Vinson

College Counselor

Cerise Roth-Vinson is the College Counselor working with students as they plan for higher education after KAS. Ms. Roth-Vinson came to KAS in 2015 and has been an engaged contributor to our community in addition to serving as the Alumni Co-coordinator. In 2020 she joined the counseling team. Cerise has more than 20+ years of experience working in international education in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State, EducationUSA, and top universities around the world. She holds an M.A. from the University of Oregon and a B.A. from Southwestern University, one of the Colleges That Changes Lives. She is certified in college counseling from UCLA, IB category 2 counseling trained, and has also completed extensive professional development with the College Board. She is the middle school faculty sponsor for the World Scholars Club. Her husband teaches IB Biology and TOK, and they have a daughter and son who are in MS and ES at KAS. She enjoys cooking, local markets, reading, traveling, and time outdoors with her family.
