Digital Days starting May 19th

Out of an abundance of caution, KAS will move to Digital Days starting on Wednesday, May 19.  This means that Tuesday, May 18 will be our last in-person day for at least a week.

This is a difficult decision made after many hours of deliberation and planning.  We believe it is important for the safety of all to move forward with this decision.

We currently intend to remain online through at least Tuesday, May 25.  Our Response Team and Board of Directors will continue regular meetings and discussion to ensure we are making the best decisions for both safety and learning.

We will follow up with more details on Tuesday, 5/18.  In the meantime, please be aware that the Kaohsiung Bureau of Education has notified parents that they may provide permission for their student to stay home from in-person school on Tuesday if needed – please click here for more info.  In this case, parents should notify our front office.
