Scheduling a Visit to Kaohsiung American School

KAS is an IB World school and our students would love to show you our new state of the art campus. We are accredited by WASC and are members of EARCOS, ACAMIS and CIS. We welcome individuals, small groups or larger groups such as the Linden Tour who just visited recently.

We are well-equipped to offer you any size venue from a 400 seat auditorium to a smaller lecture hall or a 15-25 capacity conference room. All of our rooms are equipped with the latest in electronic communication equipment.

Early Planning Stages of your trip
Kaohsiung is located in the southernmost part of Taiwan. We enjoy a beautiful, mild climate all year round. If you would like to see a beautiful aerial video of Kaohsiung, please click here. Yes, it really does look that nice!
Kaohsiung has an international airport and is easily accessible from many cities and countries. To help you make your plans, please see all the local flights that are available to you on your journey. International flights are listed here. Many flights are direct, non-stop. China airlines has a direct, non-stop flight from Bangkok to Kaohsiung if you are coming from that direction. Many other airlines connect to Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Jakarta directly. If a flight doesn’t connect directly, it will surely go to Taipei upon which you can take the HSR (High Speed Rail) from Taipei to Kaohsiung. It is only 90 minutes away. The stop for Kaohsiung is called Zuoying and KAS is only about an 8 minute taxi ride away. Many people make the return trip to Kaohsiung daily as there are several trains a day coming to Kaohsiung.
